Doctor Who Series 7 Sneak Peeks

Here you go Whovians, the first trailer of Series 7, along with some of the rumors that are floating around.

Rumor has it that we will be seeing some of the Doctors old friends and foes once again in 2012, amoung them is River Song (Alex Kingston) of course; but the grape vine through time is also whispering  the names Craig Owens (James Corden), The Master (which could be either John Simm or Benedict Cumberbatch), Madame Vastra (Neve Mcintash), Jenny (Catrin Stewart), and Captain Jack (John Barrowman). And let us not forget that we will be welcoming Jenna-Louise Coleman as the new companion to our beloved Time-Lord during the 2012 Christmas Special.

But fret not my fellow Whovians, although series 7 will not start until this fall, there is an Easter Special slated.

New Doctor Who Companion Announced

That's right my fellow Whovians, the word has been passed down.

Drum roll please....

Jenna-Louise Coleman has beaten out hundreds of hopefuls to become the Doctor's new companion. And one look at her and I can't imagine why not. The twenty-five year-old starlet from Blackpoll will star alongside the 11th Time Lord, Matt Smith, to mark the biggest year in the show's history. Jenna will replace Karen Gillan when she and Arthur Darvill bow out of the show in a heartbreaking depature later this year. But don't fret, the Ponds are in for a rollarcoaster voyage before their exit.

"I'm beyond excited, I can't wait to get cracking; working alongside Matt I know is going to be enormus fun and a huge adventure." Jenna said.

The Doctor will meet his new friend in a dramatic turn of events as the show builds towards its enormus, climatic 50th anniversary year. Series seven is currently filming and comprised of 14 big, blockbuster-movie episodes, each a brand new epic adventure featuring new monsters, and some familiar foes as you have never seen them.

"It's not often the Doctor meets someone who can talk even faster than he does, but it's about to happen. Jenna is going to lead him his merriest dance yet. And that's all you're getting for now." Moffet stated.
In 2011 Jenna made her big screen debut in "Captain America: The First Avenger", and is soon to star as Annie Desmond in ITV1's "Titanic".

It looks as if the Doctor is going to have his hands full with this one. But I don't believe Matt is going to mind one bit. So what do you think of Jenna-Louise as the new companion?

Update: Rumor has it that Jenna will be making her debut on Doctor Who in the Christmas Special.
